Basic and Advanced Obedience Training

Your dog may no longer be a puppy—but they still don’t always listen.

They understand “Sit” and “Come,” but only when they feel like it.
They walk nicely outside—until they see another dog, a cat, or a child on a scooter.
Or maybe they’re simply so smart that they’re managing you more than you’re managing them. 😅

That’s where real obedience training comes in—not to turn your dog into a command-following robot or a “soldier,” but to build communication, self-control, clear boundaries, and cooperation, so your dog can live a safer, more comfortable life by your side.

Your dog can enjoy more freedom, greater confidence, and much better balance. All you need is clear guidance, the right boundaries, and a deeper understanding of each situation.

So why wait until you feel you have no other choice?

Let’s build obedience that creates freedom—not restriction.

Assessment Sessions

Before starting any training program, I’ll visit you at home for an assessment session so we can determine which of my programs is the best fit for you and your dog.

Typically, sessions are held once a week and last 45 minutes or longer. A complete training program takes approximately three months on average.

Foundation and basic obedience training, as well as advanced obedience training, are the most common and successful programs.

To choose the best training program for you, we need to understand your needs and expectations, while also assessing your dog’s abilities.

The training programs are suitable for all dogs—from puppies to adults—regardless of breed or sex.

Basic training is generally suitable for smaller dogs and for owners who are not looking to take their dogs on challenging outdoor adventures.

Advanced training is better suited to people who enjoy exploring and traveling with their dogs, want a high level of obedience outdoors, and need to provide their dogs with an effective outlet for their energy.

In basic training, you will learn proper leash walking without pulling, basic obedience commands, how to maintain control during moments of excitement, when guests arrive, or when food is on the ground, and how to strengthen the bond and communication between dog and owner.

Advanced training includes everything covered in basic training, as well as full off-leash control, precise responses to commands from a distance and around distractions, proper behavior in public spaces and around other animals, greater emotional stability in stressful situations, and improved handling skills.

Obedience training is the key to a well-behaved, confident, and happy dog. It helps improve communication with your dog and enhances your quality of life together.

Advanced training can help address complex behavioral issues while strengthening the bond between you and your dog.
