Armoured K9 Mini

Armoured K9 MINI by LOF Defence Systems – a lightweight, portable protective vest for small dogs

The Armoured K9 MINI vest was developed specifically for small dogs, such as Pugs, Chihuahuas, Corgis and more, providing them with ballistic protection without compromising their mobility and comfort. The ergonomic design and quality materials ensure the dog can perform its duties optimally while staying safe.

Key features:

• Ballistic protection: The vest is fitted with replaceable ballistic panels that protect the dog’s vital organs. The panels meet NIJ 0101.06 standards at the GX3A level.

• Advanced heat management: The inner Outlast Thermal Management Systems™ layer helps regulate the dog’s body temperature, preventing overheating and ensuring maximum comfort.

• Quality hardware: The vest includes AustriAlpin COBRA® buckles, rated for loads of up to 18kN (about 4033 lbs), positioned on each side of the vest for easy putting on and taking off. There are also two welded stainless-steel D-rings for fast, secure leash attachment.

• Customization: The vest is available in a range of colors and patterns, including MultiCam, black, navy blue, ranger green, wolf gray, coyote brown and bright orange, so you can match its look to your personal preferences.

• Extra-light weight: At its maximum weight, the vest weighs about 500 g for the largest sizes and about 230 g for the smallest sizes, ensuring mobility and comfort for the dog.

Additional benefits:

• Positive buoyancy: The vest and its armor have positive buoyancy, which helps the dog float in water.

• Easy maintenance: The panels can be removed and replaced, including the option to swap them for buoyancy-assist panels without any sewing or special adjustments.

• Perfect fit: Five main adjustment points allow a precise fit to the dog’s body structure, ensuring comfort and safety.
