The Freemotion 5.0 harness is an upgraded version of Non-stop Dogwear’s popular pulling harness, designed for active dogs and working-dog athletes. The harness was developed, tested and used by the world’s leading athletes in canicross, bikejoring and skijoring, and is suitable for any active dog.

Key features:

• Ergonomic design: The harness is designed in a classic Y shape that allows free shoulder movement and minimal breathing restriction. The harness provides optimal stability and support, distributing the pulling force evenly across the dog’s body with no pressure on the spine.

• Quality materials: The harness is made from durable, comfortable fabrics, including a padded neck cushion for stability and support. The inner lining is gentle on the dog’s coat, and all seams are designed so the smooth side faces the dog’s body to prevent chafing.

• High visibility: The harness is fitted with 3M™ reflective elements that ensure high visibility of the dog in low-light conditions. In addition, there is a reflective loop that lets you track the dog’s movement in the dark, and you can attach a safety light (not included) to it for extra visibility.

• Custom fit: The harness is available in a range of sizes (3-9) and colors (orange/black, blue/gray, pink/gray), and can be custom-adjusted to your dog’s body shape. The harness is suited to activities with a high pull point, such as running, cycling and skiing.

Instructions for use:

1. Putting it on: Slide the harness over the dog’s head. A pulling harness should fit snugly around the neck, so you can turn the harness to the side to make the process easier. Return the harness to position and insert each front leg into the appropriate loops.

2. Fitting: Make sure the harness is properly fitted to the dog’s body, following this guide:​

   • Neck: Make sure you can fit two fingers vertically between the top of the dog’s neck and the harness. A pulling harness should fit snugly around the neck.​

   • Depth: Adjust the side straps to fit the dog’s chest. Make sure you can fit two fingers vertically between the dog’s chest and the harness.​

   • Sternum: The lowest point of the neck opening should sit on the dog’s sternum. You can adjust the position using the side straps.​

   • Armpit: Make sure there is enough room for the dog to move without obstruction.​

   • Ribs: The side straps should sit on the dog’s rib cage, not beyond the last rib.​

   • Attachment point: Adjust so that the cord for the leash attachment begins just above the base of the dog’s tail. Lock the rear strap by threading the end of the strap back through the metal buckle.

3. Removal: To remove the harness, pull it slightly forward, then bring each front leg out through the appropriate opening. Then turn the harness and slide it over the dog’s head. If it is difficult to bring the front legs through the opening, you can loosen the side straps and/or the Velcro on the dog’s back. ​
