The K9 StreetFighter vest was developed in close collaboration with professional dog handlers from law-enforcement and military units, in order to provide optimal protection for working dogs without compromising their mobility and comfort. The vest offers a combination of durability, comfort and customization, making it the preferred choice of K9 units around the world.​

Key features:

• Ballistic protection: The vest is fitted with replaceable ballistic panels that protect the dog’s vital organs. The panels meet NIJ 0101.06 standards at the GX2 or GX3A levels, providing maximum protection in dangerous situations. ​

• Advanced heat management: The inner Outlast Thermal Management Systems™ layer helps regulate the dog’s body temperature, preventing overheating and ensuring maximum comfort during prolonged missions. ​

• Quality hardware: The vest includes AustriAlpin COBRA® buckles, known for their durability and safety, as well as forged-steel V-Rings rated for a 4000 lb load, positioned at the front and rear of the vest, providing full control in any situation.

• Light weight: At its maximum weight, the vest weighs 4.4 lbs (about 2 kg) for the largest size, letting the dog maintain mobility and flexibility during missions. ​

• Customization: The vest is available in a range of colors and patterns, including MultiCam, black, ranger green, wolf gray, coyote brown and bright orange, so you can match its look to the mission’s needs and environment. ​

• Positive buoyancy: The vest and its ballistic panels have positive buoyancy, which helps the dog float in water and increases its safety in water situations. ​

• Easy maintenance: The panels can be removed and replaced, including the option to swap them for buoyancy-assist panels without any sewing or special adjustments, which makes maintenance and adapting to changing needs easier. ​

• Perfect fit: Five main adjustment points allow a precise fit to the dog’s body structure, ensuring comfort and safety during missions. ​
